My baby is 6!!

Someone turned the BIG 6!  I swear, this 6 years has FLOWN so much faster for Eli than with the girls! We started our day celebrating Eli with cinna6 buns for breakfast.
Eli also stated the night before his birthday he wanted a birthday sign on his door.  I think he remembered his sisters having one.  So after he went to bed I whipped up this sign quick.  He wanted an airplane cake so his sign has an airplane flying a HBD sign behind it and it says We hope you have a FLY birthday.  He was an excited boy!
He took cookies into school for his birthday treat and he picked his birthday dinner of chicken nuggets and french fries for dinner.  His birthday was on Thursday, but we were having a small party on Friday with some friends so we let him open his big gift on his birthday.  He was so happy for his hover board!
Birthday party Day!
Not my best work for cakes but he sure didn't mind.  That smoke from the flying airplane was hard to get to stay up and for some reason I decided to write on his cake and I never write because I am bad at it.  Like I said...He didn't mind!

Blowing out his candles!
All the kiddos enjoying cake!
A very happy, spoiled, special 6 yo boy!
Eli, at 6 you are strong headed, loud, thoughtful and smart.  You love your sisters, even though they think you are annoying.  You love Mario, tablet, legos and playing with friends.  You always tell us what you think and don't like even if we don't ask.  We love you so much and hope your 6th year of life is full of learning and enjoying life!

State Swim

The girls qualified for state swim in 2 relays.  The medally relay and freestyle relay.  We were so proud and excited they got to go.
Here are the girls of the relay team
They had some pretty tough competition but they did their bests.

Cheering them on in the stands!

All smiles!

And the parade!
The girls had a lot of fun and I don't think they were very disappointed they didn't win.  They were just excited to go.
Girls, your dad and I are so proud of your hardwork and all your improvements this year.  We hope this experience continues to drive you to do your best!

Birthday Boy

Joey turned 43 this year and the kids just love a party.  Homemade signs and very concerned about the cake situation. Josie's seat sign for her dad.
And a birthday banner for him when he came home from work.  Please note the little tractor Eli made in the middle. :)

And homemade peanut butter iced cupcakes, his favorite!  Low key birthday with the family complete.
