Now this is what we are talking about! Family get togethers....it's been a year. But now we are all vaccinated and my parents and my 94 yo Grandma made the trip out to Iowa. I couldn't believe it! The last time I saw my grandma she was 92. Everyone arrived on the train on her actual birthday so it's only fitting we celebrate with cake! Here is the cake I made for grandma!
All the grandparents did all the grandparent things they haven't been able to do for over a year. The kids were SO excited that they were coming out.
On Easter, another visitor came...the Easter Bunny! Of course the kids were excited for his visit too!
As every year he hid their baskets! Eli was the first to find his and was just as cute as can be! He found it under the laundry basket.
Ella found hers second in the garage! Sneaky! She couldn't believe it was out there!
And last, but not least Josie found hers in the basement cabinet behind the glasses at the bar.
Summer Pj's, games and candy made for smiles all around. Grandma enjoyed watching them and grandpa enjoyed sleeping in. LOL!
Easter Mass...We clean up pretty nice!
And Grandma had buckets and candy for the kids and it was such a BEAUTIFUL day we decided they needed to do an easter egg hunt. So we filled some eggs with her candy and hid them.

We had a pretty wonderful visit with all the grandparents and they have since left and another Easter in the books. Hopefully Covid is done too! We are ready to move on and live normal again! Next up is the girls First Communion and end of school year...stay tuned!
