Depth of Field

So one of the days I had a snow delay for work I got my camera out.  I thought this was a very pretty snow and decided to take some pictures from my back deck.  I was experimenting with different lenses and depths of fields for this.  I shot these in aperature priority only.  These pictures have no editing, either. Enjoy this peaceful snowy morning!!

I think this one is my favorite!!

f/5, shutter 1/200 sec, ISO 200

f/1.8, shutter 1/2500 sec, ISO 200

f/1.8, shutter 1/4000, ISO 200

f/8, shutter 1/400 sec, ISO200

My question now is..what if I changed the ISO?  Would that have changed these pictures that much?  Also, doesn't the color on the first picture look much different then the others?  I feel there is a bluish tint to the later pictures.  I set AWB, but not sure if I did it for the different lenses.  Do I have to change WB once or with each lens?  Hmmm.  I guess I need to figure it out.

Pioneer Ridge

This was the actual first time I went out with my camera. I was just messing around with different settings and seeing what my camera has to offer. Two of my subjects were playing disc golf while I was messing with my camera. This was SUPER funny. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. These are unedited pictures. Any suggestions on what I should do different would be great!

Kristins bridal shower

The bride to be!!

My friend, Kristin, had her wedding shower this weekend. I got a few pics from it, but they aren't that great. The lighting in this particular setting was very hard. They had natural light coming in from the windows and then flourescent lights on too! I was also trying not to be the crazy lady with the camera too!! Ugh! I definately need more practice.

Brody-14 months

My first photo shoot! My friend let me "practice" with her son and here are some of the pictures I captured. A moving 1 year old is hard to shoot, maybe should have done a non-mobile child first :)  I have alot to learn, but hope to see the change in my pictures as I get more practice!!
