We got to hang out with cousin Lexie and the girls loved her!  Too bad she couldn't stay and play the whole week :(

Passing grades

The girls had their last swim lesson this week and I'm happy to report they passed their class!  They can move up from pike to eel class! Yay!  They both did really well, as this is the first time mom or dad did not get in with them and they looked forward to it each week.

So far Ella has really taken off in the water this year. She was very timid about

swimming last year and so far this year she is swimming by herself (w life jacket) and jumping in the water and going under as well! Go Ella!!

3 1/2 birthday

We celebrated the girls birthday while in Ohio this past week!  The girls were lucky because we had family from BOTH sides that were able to make it for their special day. I often wonder if I'm doing the right thing by celebrating their birthday in June-their half birthday-so they have a special birthday and it doesn't just get thrown in at Christmas and this birthday party proved I am!  They had a great time and I loved that family made it.

Gigi got these really nice recorders for the girls. She hoping to instill her love of music in them!  Although a tad bit young yet for them, they sure know how to make noise with them ;)

We had the party the day before we left which was stupid because then they couldn't play with any of their gifts as we were packing up to go home. But once we got home they were ready to enjoy their gifts. Here they are painting a tea set we got them. A paint and pretend tea set.
