Quick little updates on what has been going on lately, which hasn't been a whole lot. It was national super hero day so all the kids wore their PJ masks stuff they received in their easter baskets. Eli did not keep his on very long and the girls wore their capes and masks to school. Mom win!
We had some out of town friends spend the night and that's always a lot of fun! And of course, we gotta have pictures of all the kids
Back in January or February Ella's teacher and I noticed that she was having a hard time hearing. I called the pediatrician almost immediately to rule out ear infection. She had fluid at that time, but no infection. The doctor wanted us to try decongestants and see her again about 4-6 weeks later. At that appointment she referred us to an ENT because she still had fluid/hearing loss.
Here is Ella getting her hearing checked at the ENT. Her hearing loss is still just from the fluid (thank goodness) and she is now scheduled to have tubes and adenoids removal in June.
The weather is getting nicer so that means more time outside. Eli's first trip on the bike and he was unsure about it, however he was sick with ANOTHER ear infection.
And speaking of sickness--I AM OVER IT!!! Since Christmas, Eli has now had 6 ear infections, flu that's been passed around the family, I have had bronchitis and a BAD sinus infection and now Joey is suffering with a bad throat and I am home today with another child for, of all things...pink eye!!! It is sooo frustrating. I have missed so much work and not to mention every one is super sick at work! I am ready for SUMMER !!! This has just really been a tough year for illnesses for everyone.
