Opening day

It was "opening day" for boating season and we were all ready! Sunday was high in the mid 80's sun-shining and the lake was not busy. We had a wonderful time.

I think the girls favorite part about boating is the food. They get to eat food that they normally don't get. When I say that, I try to make healthy snacks that are boat friendly.

Eli did great. We had no expectations and figured he would need to get used to it, but he did pretty good.

And to my surprise the girls got into the water! We were at the beach so they could play and the next thing I know they are going into the water. The water temp was only 62 degrees. Brrrrr

And on the way home...

I know we are ready for a good boating season this year. I really hope that Eli continues to do good on the boat and the weather cooperates all summer.

Video Viernes (Friday)

Today's blog post is all my little videos I have on my phone. Most are from my snapchat app that only allows for 10 seconds of video. So because they are short I will post quite a few :)

I was in the kitchen and was able to catch this--the girls singing to Eli

Here is Josie throwing a fit because I put 1 ice cube in her cup. Being 3 is tough.

The girls wanted to take a "walk" which included these balls. It was a slow walk for me, but the girls slept great!

A couple weekends ago was SE IOWA race for the cure. I ran with the girls and Joey walked with Eli. I came in second in my age group. I pretty much ran the whole thing, but this is the first time my upper body was worn out from pushing the girls. It was hard work, they are heavy.
